The association is chaired by Jiangsu University of Science and Technology, and the Marine Equipment Research Institute of Jiangsu University of Science and Technology, Zhenjiang Shipyard, Xinhan Tong Shipbuilding Industry, Daquan Group, Jiangsu Ship Design and Research Institute, and Tongzhou Propeller serve as the vice-chairman units. The association has absorbed the first batch of 63 members.
In recent years, Jiangsu shipbuilding and offshore industry has seized the development opportunity, and the shipbuilding completion volume, hand-held orders and new orders have remained the first in China for 11 consecutive years. As an important city in the Yangtze River Delta, Zhenjiang has the unique advantages of developing ships and offshore industry. After long-term development, the city's ship and offshore industry has formed a relatively complete development pattern of ship and offshore industry with relatively complete categories, relatively complete industrial chain and high market popularity. In addition, the obvious characteristics of shipbuilding enterprises, complete industrial supporting facilities, more R & D institutions, and strong technical strength of supporting backbone enterprises all provide good conditions for the high-quality development of Zhenjiang ships and marine equipment.
Tongzhou will further give full play to its resource advantages in the field of ship propulsion equipment, and work hand in hand with the member units of the industry association to jointly promote the development of the ship and offshore industry in our city.
